Solar Panels are now becoming extremely popular and are essential for running lights and your water pump if you are intending on going away for more than two days when main hook up is not available.

Having your solar panels permanently roof mounted onto your caravan or motorhome means they are less prone to theft than portable solar units, and of course far more practical.

A 80 watt panel is normally sufficient for normal caravan or motorhome usage between March and September, where you are just using standard manufacturer fitted 12 volt equipment

120 Watts

If you are intending on using your caravan or motorhome all year round or having extra 12 volt equipment such as 12 volt TV’s or laptops it is recommended that you have at least a 120 watt panel.

All Solar panels listed above are mono-crystalline MCS, CE and ISO tested and certified and come with a Deluxe charger showing: Out-put from solar panel in volts and amps,  amount of volts and amps currently being used and amount of volts and amps in the battery. Be aware of cheaper models that just have a bulb showing there is an output from the solar panel.
